Het is het jaar 1202. De kruisvaarders staan aan de poorten van Zadar. Ze dreigen de hele stad te beroven en te verwoesten. Tenzij je ze geeft wat ze willen. Om jou te sparen, eisen de kruisvaarders dat je betaald in puur goud. Van de hele stad heeft slechts één man genoeg goud om de kruisvaarders te betalen: de gierige koopman Dishislav. Hij heeft geweigerd je te helpen en je hebt geen andere keus dan het goud te stelen...
